I’m deeply invested in contributing to positive social impact, which I’ve been able to effect within the fields of education, public health, & community development. The unifying thread for me in this work has been the chance to improve the quality of life and opportunities for advancement for the populations that I serve. Over 12+ years I have scaled my career as a Project Management Professional (PMP) to manage a $109M program and lead cross-functional teams of up to 15 to impact thousands of constituents. I enjoy the multi-faceted challenges of this work including business development, capacity building, & managing external partner relations. I pride myself on my ability to identify process inefficiencies and create sustainable solutions that in many cases have been adopted organization-wide. My international experience and interdisciplinary academic background enable me to see a variety of pathways to solving various business challenges.I am equally comfortable leading strategic initiatives and executing ground-level details with a keen eye toward managing risks.As a team leader, I employ a people-first approach where my team’s development and success are my core focus. I excel in onboarding new employees thanks to my ability to convey new systems and concepts in an easily digestible manner.I value equity and diplomacy, which manifest in my work in how I treat others with respect, regardless of title or status, and in often being tapped formally or informally to address difficult situations.I gain a deep sense of fulfillment when the work I engage with helps to improve the lives of others in tangible ways.
