   Worked on Prime Video Ads project; Responsibilities include (a) Working on the backend service for enabling customers to subscribe and manage their Ad free subscription via various types of client devices;(b) Design and make code changes in different programming languages across Prime Video backend services for various components of the project Built a way to aggressively scale up service automatically in case of sudden increase in the traffic to avoid service going down during unexpected traffic; Before introducing aggressive scaling, services would always need to be scaled up to handle the unexpected traffic leading to wastage of resources, more cost of maintenance and also require manual intervention. Worked on optimizing the resource of a L2 cache infrastructure of a backend service by (a) Migrating to latest generation Ec2 type (b) increase number of instances to reduce the impact of losing keys when instance restarts.
