My name is August Portal, a second-year student at The University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. I am enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce program at Sauder and have a strong passion for business and a commitment to personal and professional growth.I have plenty of leadership experience through volunteer roles, work experience, that have allowed me to demonstrate my passion for business and learning.By pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree at UBC Sauder, I will be able to further explore the dynamic world of business and seek opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills.I plan to later combine my passion for travel and learning about new cultures with social enterprise to be able to leave a lasting positive impact wherever I go.In a rapidly changing world, I\'m excited to be part of the next generation of business leaders.
