About Audrey Wheat

Audrey joined CAPTRUST in 2016 and leads institutional strategic partner relations for the firm. As a member of the vendor analysis team, she handles firm-to-firm relations, vendor due diligence, and creates industry content. You can catch her sharing her thoughts as a co-host on the monthly podcast, Revamping Retirement. Before joining CAPTRUST, Audrey worked in several roles at a recordkeeper and has been part of the industry since 2008.She is a member of several industry advisory boards, including Empower’s Advisory Council, Principal’s Consultant Council, Schwab’s Workplace Financial Services Consultant Advisory Board, T. Rowe Price’s Client Advisory Board, and Voya’s Consultant Advisory Board.In 2025, Audrey took on the role of vice chair of the CAPTRUST Community Foundation’s Volunteer Committee. Audrey enjoys volunteering with underserved communities and regularly donates blood, having recently reached a personal milestone of donating over two gallons.She earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation.
