ABOUT AUDREY MARIE CROCHEMAR
Audrey is a multilingual program lead of key Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives across sectors and jurisdictions. She currently works for the Region of Peel, a government administration of the most diverse region in Canada. She has 20 years of experience in the private, multilateral and public sectors, building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders, incl. governments, the private sector, civil society, NGOs, community-based organizations, and policy makers.Audrey spent most of her career working internationally, and is a subject-matter expert of Small Islands Developing States (SIDS), especially in the Caribbean and Micronesian.Audrey has lived, worked and went on regular missions to 30+ countries, where she partnered with all stakeholders, and collaborated with government officials, management consulting firms, and civil society to successfully execute the projects she led.She understands regional and local socio-political contexts and nuances, remains mindful of cultural specificities, as well as policy limitations in the work she does.Audrey is passionate about international development and relations, process improvement and efficiency.
