About Audrey Haskell

My name is Audrey Haskell and I am a second year at the University of South Carolina. I am currently majoring in Biology with a minor in Business Administration. During high school, I was involved in many extracurricular activities. Most notable being the club that I co-founded named \"Cheering on Children\'s\". This organization raised over to fulfill the wishlists of children in long-term care at Boston Children\'s Hospital. Additionally, my time in DECA where I placed top ten in the state. In addition, I was a member of the Greater Lawrence Rowing Varsity team and the Andover High School Ski Team. Both of which I served as captain my senior year. Throughout my high school years, I served as an intern for The Andona Society where I gained experience managing the social media accounts for a larger organization. I worked as a cashier and barista at a local cafe and seasonally as a ski instructor at Sunday River. Also highlighted on my resume is the time I spent working as a camp counselor, swim instructor, and rowing coach.These employment and professional opportunities have further developed my grit, communication skills, teamwork, leadership, and responsibility. I have grown in my skills to manage social media, plan events, organize myself and others, and work with people of all ages. I continued to stay involved in my community upon entering South Carolina. In late August I joined Phi Mu which has provided me with an immense network of relationships as well as numerous community service opportunities. I was then accepted to join Beta Beta Beta National Biology Honors Fraternity based on my course load and Grade Point Average. This professional fraternity has connected me with experts within the biology world who serve as mentors and idols for me. I also was a member of The Backpack Project and Dance Marathon, two student-run organizations on campus. I am pleased to say that I was selected for The Presidents List based on my first year GPA. I look forward to expanding my extracurricular experiences and academic achievements over the coming months.
