ABOUT AUDREY BENNETT

I am a master\'s student in Communication Theory and Research at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I study how media shape public understandings of identity, power, and history. My work focuses on the representation of marginalized subjects in journalism, visual culture, and public memory, exploring how narratives of gender and race are constructed, circulated, and contested. I\'m especially interested in political and cultural implications of these portrayals in both historical and contemporary contexts. I hold a B.A. in English and Public Relations from Berry College and have professional experience writing, editing, and managing content across print, digital, and marketing platforms.
