ABOUT AUDREY CAPRIO
Audrey Caprio is a international development and public health professional with experience in global health program management and implementation and a medical background. She aims to utilize her experiences working as a nurse to address global health challenges at the nexus of water security, sanitation, and hygiene (WSSH), climate change, and health. Areas of technical expertise include WSSH, epidemic and pandemic prevention, preparedness, detection, and response, infectious disease epidemiology, climate change, antimicrobial resistance, One Health approaches, infection prevention and control (IPC), communications, storytelling through data analysis and visualizations, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) for global programs. Within WSSH, she has a background in menstrual hygiene management, community-based WSSH programming, WSSH in healthcare facilities, and climate resilient and natural disaster mitigation programming.
