About Audrey Altieri

I have a strong passion for increasing educational opportunities and access, and improving educational outcomes for every child. I am accomplished in applying skills and experiences in education, consulting, policy, research, data analytics, and project management to positively affect education decisions. My current role is supporting education research and data analytics at the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio. I am also an EdD Education Leadership and Policy candidate at Vanderbilt University (anticipated graduation of 2027). I graduated from Vanderbilt University with an M.P.P. specific to education policy in 2021. Prior to Vanderbilt, I earned a B.S. in Integrated Mathematics Education in 2014 and an M.A.T. in Mathematics in 2017 from Miami University. My prior experiences include being a Researcher at the American Institutes for Research (AIR), Education Consultant and Policy Liaison for the North Carolina State Board of Education and Department of Public Instruction, Education Consultant (student) at the Center for Public Research and Leadership at Columbia Law School, conducting research for Cleveland Transformation Alliance and the Tennessee Educators of Color Alliance, and five years of teaching high school mathematics in Ohio public school districts. I plan to continue applying my teaching, policy, and research experiences to education policy, reform, and research. My policy interests include teacher policy, school turnaround, school improvement efforts, and rigorous research and evaluation to support teachers and students and improve education systems.
