About Audrey Zibelman

I am an internationally known and respected leader in the electric power industry with deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges of transitioning the industry to a decarbonised future. My former leadership roles as CEO of AEMO, Chair of the New York Public Service Commission, Chief Operating Officers at PJM, and a long time executive at Xcel Energy, provided me first hand experience with all aspects of power system planning, operations, technology innovation, market design and regulation in multiple countries. I have the benefit of a unique background that allows me to understand and navigate industry transition challenges from a system of systems perspective. As the founder of Viridity Energy and an executive at X, Alphabet’s Moonshot Factory, I also have experience with developing and scaling innovative technologies that can accelerate grid decarbonization. I currently use my experiences to help guide companies in the clean technology sector either as a non-executive member of the Board or an Advisor. I am committed to working with organizations who want to help solve climate change challenges collaboratively and on a global scale.
