About Audrey Walters-Moore

With a lifelong commitment to justice and the protection of the vulnerable, I have dedicated my career to confronting human trafficking — particularly in conflict zones, where children are most at risk and exploitation thrives.After earning a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Delaware, I served with the Young Adult Service Corps in Belgium, working alongside international students and refugees across Europe. During that time, I witnessed the grim realities of trafficking firsthand when a children’s home I volunteered with was exposed as a front for exploitation. That experience solidified my resolve to stop trafficking before it starts.Since 2005, I have helped build and expand the only indigenously directed anti-trafficking network operating in Sudan and South Sudan. In 2018, I became CEO of Lift Up the Vulnerable, where I lead our mission to prevent human trafficking and empower local changemakers to create resilient, hope-filled communities in war-torn regions.
