About Audrey Vila
I am a JD candidate at Boston College Law School, where I am pursuing my passion for public interest law and policy. I worked in paralegal and project management roles at North Carolina Prisoner Legal Services, where I supported post-conviction litigation and mitigation for indigent clients. As a Data Justice Fellow at Wilson Center for Science and Justice at Duke Law, I contribute to research projects that examine the impact of data and technology on criminal justice reform and racial equity. I have gained skills in juvenile court, restorative justice, and research through my academic and extracurricular activities. My goal is to work in public defense or other direct representation to address racial inequality and access to criminal legal representation in the US.
