ABOUT AUDREY NICKEL
As a German and American citizen with international patent litigation experience in the area of cellular SEP\'s (3G, 4G and 5G), my focus is protecting the most valuable assets of one of the world\'s largest patent portfolios in this technology area. This involves shepherding multimillion dollar patents through litigation before courts and patent offices around the world. My track record includes getting the validity of our patents confirmed before the EPO Opposition Division and Boards of Appeal, at the German Federal Patent Court and Federal Supreme Court, and in post-grant proceedings around the world. During infringement proceedings citing to our patents, I coordinate and manage counsel at all stages, from complaint preparation to hearings before the courts of the UPC, Germany, US, and China, as well as countries in Latin America and SE Asia. My work style is pragmatic, holistic, structured, streamlined, and agile. I am a European and Germany patent attorney, a UPC Litigator, and a US patent agent. I authored the book \"US Patent Law for European Patent Professionals\"(3rd ed, 2020).
