Over the course of my career, I have applied technical tax and legal expertise, and strategic and policy perspectives to an array of tax and non-tax issues and strategies impacting large-scale projects, enterprise-level issues, and multi-billion-dollar business transactions. GE Journey: Over the past 18 years at GE, I’ve risen to become Senior Executive Tax Counsel and a key player in the separation strategy and ongoing framework for GE’s historic business transformation. M&A Mastery: With a comprehensive M&A background, I have successfully structured, negotiated, and ensured the cost-effective and timely implementation of business transactions totaling more than $150B. Foundational Tax Background: My early experience with the US Treasury as an Attorney Advisor with the Office of Tax Legislative Counsel has formed my holistic understanding of tax issues from a government and corporate perspective.
