ABOUT AUDREY ASHBURN
I am a student affairs professional working with leadership programming and civic engagement. I love to help connect students to who they are. My goal as an educator is to provide context and guidance while my students develop critical thinking and ethical leadership skills. As a higher education professional, I am interested in culturally relevant pedagogies that teach students to contextualize themselves within societal systems of oppression. I aim to guide students into becoming allies and advocates for marginalized communities while maintaining a space for personal wellness. My leadership philosophy is rooted in the Social Change Model, Adaptive Leadership, and Authentic Leadership.
