ABOUT AUDE SCHOENTGEN

I am an economist with nearly 20 years of experience, at the crossroads of technology, telecoms and regulation. I work for industry stakeholders on informing their economic and regulatory decisions, and improving their policies and performance. My differentiating strength is the ability to connect the dots between market dynamics, regulatory shifts, technological disruption and societal expectations. I translate complex evolutions (e.g. AI governance, cloudification, space sustainability, 5G rollouts, spectrum policy) into clear strategic implications for decision-makers.Looking ahead, I aspire to contribute to the governance of non-profits and scale-ups bringing an external perspective that challenges assumptions and strengthens strategy. I have led and managed international projects for BEREC, ITU, World Bank, GSMA, and national regulators, as well as advised global tech companies and telecom operators, experience I am now ready to channel into board discussions with clarity and a commitment to diverse leadership.I am also deeply committed to diversity and mentoring. Technology and infrastructure sectors remain male-dominated; fostering diverse leadership pipelines is not only a value I hold but a performance driver I want to keep promoting at governance level.
