AUBREY TUCKER BRIEF BIOActive in many areas of professional music (Aubrey Tucker Music), Aubrey is a film, TV, jazz, Broadway musical and concert composer, arranger, ASCAP songwriter, vocalist, trombonist and recording and events producer. He is also widely experienced in worship music. His discography includes recordings and videos in many genres. The acclaimed Aubrey Tucker Jazz Quartet and Aubrey Tucker Orchestra perform often in the Houston area.Dr. Aubrey Tucker retired as Commercial Music Program Coordinator for Houston Community College in July, 2016 and continues as an Adjunct Professor of Music Business and Academic Music at HCC. Dr. Tucker founded the Commercial Music Department at HCC in 1985, which became large programs in Audio, Video, Film, Music Business and Academic Music. Dr. Tucker represents his famous former student, Mathew Knowles, for educational special events. Professor Knowles is the founder and CEO of Music World Entertainment, multi-Platinum record producer, and, of course, is the father of Beyoncé. Professor Knowles is also on the faculty of Texas Southern University. For more information, contact Aubrey directly.In Las Vegas, Aubrey Tucker performed with many great stars including Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Ella Fitzgerald, Sammy Davis Jr. and Tony Bennett, winning five Las Vegas Entertainment Awards. Aubrey toured the world with some of the great big bands and his arrangements were featured on network TV and film. At the University of Houston, Aubrey founded the Cougar Brass and Cougar Dolls, and the UH Jazz Studies program. He was the founding Music Director at Astroworld Amusement Park.In the U.S. Army, Aubrey composed and arranged music for the US Navy Show Band, the Army Chorus and other military musical units.
