About Aubrey Williams
Aubrey Williams is an organizer, labor scholar, and DEI practitioner. With an MA in Anti-Racist Organizational Policy, her areas of focus sit at the intersection of sociology, labor studies, and nonprofit management. She is most interested in how racial inequality has been shaped by capitalism, unjust labor practices, and organizations — with a hope that one day this will change.Currently, Aubrey serves as a Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Senior Specialist at the Wikimedia Foundation, the organization that hosts Wikipedia and other free knowledge projects. In her role, she has the privilege of creating programs and policies that embed the principles of justice, equity, and accountability.
