About Aubrey Duncan

I have retired and recently returned as a contractor with TVA. I am working as a project manager. I led our Substation Construction group the last 3 years with TVA. I have 30+ years of experience in power system operations and maintenance. I have worked with both power system equipment and power control systems during that time. I have severed on various teams within TVA. I served for a period of time as the TVA representative on the NERC Critical Infrastructure protection group. I have lead a number of training classes within TVA, many of them across the whole company. I have represented TVA at a number of job fairs at various universities and recruited new engineers for the company. I enjoy working with people and learning new things from them. I am active in my church where I serve as a deacon. I have taken several mission trips outside the US to help those less fortunate. I enjoy golf, hunting and fishing, and travelling.

   I am now responsible for construction of all the substations in the total TVA footprint. We also provide metering and scada physical installation. I am also responsible for all new additions in the telecommunication world for the Valley. This includes microwave, power line carrier, fiber optic bulk carriers for scada and controls as well as voice and data.
