Provide strategic direction and leadership to manage Manufacturing and Welding Operations for HBL Power Systems. Plan, organise, and manage all components of the product realisation value chain. Conduct Technical, Design & Operations reviews and perform cost estimation of commercial proposals for new products. Plan and implement improvements to manufacturing operations in regards to efficiencies of throughput, reliability, manpower, safety, utilities, cost, and operational needs. Contribute to Welding process qualification, as well as WPS/WPQR and welding-related documentation. Maintain documentation for ITP/PAP/Quality Gates/QCR/PMR/FAI. Conduct a gap analysis to discover areas for continuous improvement/cost reduction/quality improvement. Carry out project management feasibility & risk assessment studies for new assignments. Streamline activities for the operations and maintenance of the systems and machines to achieve the production goals and objectives.
