ABOUT ATUL JHA

As a B.Tech student in Chemical Engineering at IIT Guwahati, I am passionate about the intersection of technology and innovation, with a particular focus on machine learning and artificial intelligence. With hands-on experience in developing and deploying AI models, I have successfully led and contributed to several impactful projects, including building a multimodal literature review chatbot using LLMs and RAG, and implementing image colorization using GANs. I have a strong foundation in programming languages like C++, C, and Python, and I am proficient in using tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Docker, and AWS. My technical expertise is complemented by a track record of achievements, including selection for Amazon’s ML Summer School among candidates, and reaching the Gold Level at WorldQuant for developing innovative trading strategies. In addition to my technical skills, I am deeply involved in extracurricular activities, where I have honed my leadership and collaboration abilities. As a Core Team member of IITG.AI and the Coordinator of the Coding Club’s ML Module, I have played a pivotal role in enhancing AI literacy among students by organizing workshops and hackathons, and by showcasing projects to industry experts. I am always eager to learn, innovate, and apply my knowledge to solve real-world problems, and I am looking forward to opportunities where I can contribute to and grow within the field of AI and technology.
