ABOUT DAVID COHEN
I am the Founding Partner and Senior Attorney at Campbell Cohen Law firm for the past 40 years. We provide advice and representation to individuals and businesses across Canada and the world on all matters that involve Canadian immigration and citizenship. My educational background and professional life are all about Canadian immigration. I hold a Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University in Montreal, and I am a member, in good standing, of the Canadian and Quebec Bar Associations, as well as the American Immigration Lawyers Association. More recently, I was appointed a Governor of the Quebec Bar Foundation and invited to join the Conference Board of Canada’s Leaders Roundtable on Immigration. I have also appeared before a number of Canadian Government Parliamentary Committees on issues pertaining to immigration matters. In addition to my work as an attorney, I am the managing Editor of CIC News, a bi-weekly immigration newsletter, and the moderator of the web’s most popular forum on Canadian immigration and settlement. On a monthly basis, I blog on Canadian immigration topics from a personal perspective.
