About Danisha L. McClary
I am a former Army Finance Officer and a retired Army Judge Advocate Officer. I am currently licensed to practive law in the state of Georgia where I have been an active member of the Bar since 2005. I currently serve as the Chair of the Economic Development Committee to the Town of Andrews, SC; and as an appointee to the Accommodation Tax (A-TAX) Committee for the County of Georgetown, SC. Additionally, I provide consultation services to local government and small businesses in the areas of government contracting, grant writing, business formation, and small business certification. I received my JD from the University of Georgia (UGA) Law School. I also hold a LL.M in government contracts and fiscal law from The Army\'s Judge Advocate General\'s Legal Center and School; a MS in management from Troy State University; and a BS in business administration from Florida A&M University. My previous military Finance Corps experience includes Chief Disbursing Officer for 176th Finance Battalion in Korea, and as the Deputy Defense Military Pay Officer at Fort Benning, GA. Additionally, I have held the following positions as an Army JAG attorney: Chief of Administrative Law, Second Infantry Division; Brigade Trial Counsel (prosecutor), 4th Infantry Division; Chief of Client Services and Foreign Claims, Multi-National Division-Baghdad; Chief of Contract and Fiscal Law, U.S. Army Central Command; Civil Litigation Attorney (Labor Law), U.S. Army Litigation Division; and Chief of Military Justice, Fort Jackson, SC.
