ABOUT ATTILIO BIXIO

I\'m a civil & structural engineer with current practice mainly in green building and timber buildings. I started working as an engineer in 1994 in a practice in Rome, after graduating with a thesis on seismic isolation. Then, in I obtained the title of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in \"Earthquake engineering: analysis and strengthening of structures\"at the University of Salerno. I gained a good experience, both working and researching in the field of earthquake engineering, using innovative techniques for protection, and in the safety assessment of existing buildings. I have experience in building energy audit and optimization and in the design and of energy efficiency through the use of environmentally friendly materials.
