I\'m passionate about helping companies protect their employees, bottom lines, and reputations against what the U.S. Justice Dept. calls the new domestic terrorism: workplace violence. What makes me different is \"why\" I do what I do.I grew up in the inner city and a home with a violent stepfather, dealing with bullying to actual physical attacks from assailants who cared neither for others, nor for the laws and rules that are supposed to be in place to stop them. I vowed to never let this happen and spent the first part of my career in law enforcement – coming to an even more intimate understanding of not only acts of violence, but what caused them and how to prevent, deter, and survive them if necessary.That being said.I believe that great leaders care about their people\'s safety and well being and believe, as I do, they have a responsibility to protect them from dangers that can happen in the workplace.
