Dr. Atreyee Kundu is an accomplished microbiologist and academician currently serving as the Head of the Department of Microbiology at Techno India University, Kolkata. She earned her Ph.D. in Microbiology and has established herself as an expert in plant stress physiology, bioremediation, and microbial interactions. Through her scientific publications and citations, her research is widely acknowledged in the scientific community. Dr. Kundu’s work delves into global challenges like combating heat stress in oilseed mustard and heavy metal stress mitigation using nanotechnology. Her innovative approaches in microbiology aim to address critical environmental issues. She has also worked extensively on the synergistic application of plant growth-promoting bacteria and nanoparticles to alleviate heavy metal stress in plants.
