Building organisational capacity to support the execution of business strategy is not a one-time event that happens overnight, in my opinion. It is a process that requires time and effort. On the way there, my more than two decades of experience in the human resources function will assist me in applying the principles of business driving force on equity, human resource transformation, leadership pipeline development, and competency model development to build the organisation, which will enable me to be prepared for the future of WORK and make well-informed and thoughtful decisions that are consistent with the organization\'s values and vision.I have a strong business understanding, Analytical & Strategic thinker translated into execution focus. Multi-lingual interfacing capability: English, Hindi, Telugu, Oriya, Bengali, Tamil, Kannada & Malayalam (can understand).I was involved in 5 Mergers & Acquisitions: GE Signaling integration into Alstom Transport; Golden, Unicorn, Uniphos into Advanta Seeds. Unified HR policies & Organizational values post-merger.Seamlessly handled the integration of 50+ Expats from different countries – both inbound and outboundI have exposure to setting up teams from scratch: Shared Services, Engineering Centre, etc. Was heading 7 plants in IFB – handled strong workforce across India with the multi-union environment.Executed 5 union settlements under 12 (3) & 18 (1)PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 1. Experience in managing Industrial Relations and Employee Relations of a large manufacturing set-up, currently, all manufacturing Industrial sites (8) of ALSTOM India is under my scope2. Having Strong knowledge in industrial and labour laws, managing relations with employee unions / work committees 3. Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, staffing, and learning and development 4. Experience in managing entire HR processes, operations, and restructuring 5. Strong business orientation with the ability to convert business plans into actions 6. Ability to influence and build healthy relationships with management and employees
