About Atish Majumdar

With around 22years experience in the Indian Pharma Industry, I am currently responsible for Mankind Pharma’s Specialty Businesses. Prior to Mankind, I have worked at Lupin, where I joined as a MT and grew through the ranks to be a Vice President and Cluster Head. In my journey of around 21years at Lupin, I had played a key role in driving Lupin’s foray into Cardiology and it’s transition from an Anti-Tuberculosis company to leadership in Cardiology in the Indian Market while also successfully initiating and implementing Lupin\'s diversification into Diabetology, Neurology, Psychiatry and Oncology. Additionally, I had also initiated Lupin’s entry into the Sri Lankan and Bangladesh markets and led the Field Training Vertical in India.A believer in the transformational power of digital interventions and people development; I have successfully initiated, executed and have driven various digital and people interventional strategies which has helped transform processes, outlooks and business outcomes. I find it extremely challenging and ultimately gratifying to understand, motivate and inspire diverse people with varied backgrounds and socio-cultural orientations to focus and work together towards a common goal. Deviating from the usual to explore refreshing possibilities, I take great pride to lead and work with a team, to steer motivated individuals into a dynamic team that can work together, to creatively formulate effective solutions towards a common goal. Seeing the known from an alternative perspective, combining disparate and unconventional methodologies to evolve new opportunities and derive radical solutions is something I try to do with my teams. And, this is exactly what has made this journey so very invigorating and satisfying.
