ABOUT ATISH KATORE

Aiming to be a Chartered Engineer. I am a mechanical design engineer with a passion for innovation and problem-solving, I have gained extensive experience in the field through my work at Pratima Enterprises and as a student intern at DesignTech CAD Academy. During my time at Pratima Enterprises, I developed new designs for soft and hard jaws used in CNC, VMC and milling machines that increased productivity. I also performed static and dynamic analysis using ANSYS to ensure the safety and efficacy of the designs. Additionally, I created prototypes of new designs for special-purpose jaws that were later adopted by the company. As a student intern at DesignTech CAD Academy, I developed skills in Hypermesh and performed FEA calculations on BIW structures. I also created 3D parts of various mechanical components and drafted 2D drawings for the same with accurate GD & T. Moreover, I gained expertise in generating Engineering Bill of Materials for designs. My project experience includes the \"PetRo 6 Homogenous Modular Robot Leg\" and \"Design and Development of Paediatric Wheelchair Devices\" at the University of Liverpool, where I developed advanced knowledge in modular robotics through research and designed the PetRo 6 prototype using PTC Creo software. Furthermore, I developed two accessories for a wheelchair and tested them using ANSYS. In terms of leadership experience, I led a race-winning team of 18 members as Vice-Captain, Driver, and Head Chassis Design & Development at Team Accelerons. I also managed the racetrack design team as Head and Core Committee Member for the Zeal Drag Go-Kart National Level Championship. I possess a wide range of technical skills, including Microsoft Office, CATIA V5 Mechanical Designer (Certified by Dassault Systems), PTC Creo, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, ANSYS, Hypermesh, FEA, CFD, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen. I am always eager to learn and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to drive innovation and enhance project outcomes.
