Ati serves as outside general counsel for middle-market businesses in a variety of industries requiring day-to-day general corporate needs. In particular, Ati has built a stable of clients in the technology sector for which Ati assists with SaaS agreements, software/technology licensing, joint ventures, commercial contracts, employment issues, regulatory and corporate compliance, and litigation management. Ati\'s goal is to be a true strategic partner for growing businesses, and he aims to be the first phone call that his clients make when seeking creative legal solutions to their corporate needs.Ati also leads HMB\'s finance and banking practice, negotiating both lender-side and borrower-side loan documentation to facilitate complex commercial loan transactions ranging from $1 million to $500 million. In addition, Ati has created a unique specialty finance practice within HMB, which includes equipment lease finance, warranty finance, insurance premium finance and other such specialty disciplines. Through his finance practice, Ati has built a strong reputation for finding solutions to difficult problems, setting him apart from traditional corporate finance attorneys.Ati has an additional practice focusing on mergers and acquisitions. He has represented clients in numerous industries in M&A transactions ranging from $1 million to $500 million. Ati\'s finance background makes him uniquely qualified to oversee both the purchase transaction as well as the financing necessary to bring the transaction to a smooth closing. As such, Ati serves as a \"one-stop shop\" for all of his clients\' M&A needs.Lastly, Ati has helped create entire practice groups within HMB from the ground-up, most notably HMB\'s entrepreneurship-by-acquisition practice and HMB\'s cannabis practice, in each case taking the lead on developing technical skills, hiring talent and managing client relationships.Most of all, Ati prides himself on having close, long-lasting relationships with his clients.
