I’m a software engineer with 10+ years of experience having worked in Airlines, Banking domains.At IBM, I am part of a team developing and maintaining customer facing software components which works closely with zOS operating system.At Razorpay, I led a team developing a financial instrument from scratch. Day to day work includes designing the product on all levels including application, database, micro services etc. apart from developing the functionalities and testing.At Visa Inc. my day to day work included supporting Visa Real-time Integrated payment application. The team I was part of works on maintaining and developing the TPF system and associated applications vital to processing millions of transactions everyday. I had the chance to work on most of the aspects of processing a card transaction such as routing, fraud checks, authorisations, reversals, adjustments, settlements, currency conversion etc. I was also part of the modernizing effort which was migrating the legacy monolith to modern architecture utilising micro services, go lang, and other new age technologies.The team I was part of at Mphasis develops, maintains and supports the check-in package for leading airlines in United States. Over the years at Mphasis, the technologies I have worked on include TPF(Transaction Processing Facility), Assembler programming, TPFDB, TPF C/C++, Python, Microsoft SQL etc. Working in the airlines domain helped me gain knowledge on the airlines processes and operations. I have specialized on Automated Check-In and is familiar with General Reservations and E-Ticketing.Before joining Mphasis, I worked for another software company - ITFlux; my first employer and was lucky enough to get exposure and work with opensource technologies such as ODOO(OpenERP) and Python.I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to improve myself over time. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think my favorite activity is the development or coding.I completed my Bachelors from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala in 2014 and have kept myself updated since then.I’m always interested in hearing from other techies or other like minded people, so feel free to contact me if you’d like to connect.
