ABOUT ANDREW THOESEN
My current role at Arizona Public Service (APS) as an Energy Innovation Program Consultant focuses my research and analysis skills on the adoption of new and emerging technology as part of the Technology Assessment group. We investigate products and services which will allow us to improve our business model for our shareholders while contributing to Arizona as part of the community. At the moment, I am excited about the crossroads emerging between utility-scale energy generation, the electrification of transportation, and planning cities for the 21st century. Solutions are emerging which can create a more efficient utility, a cleaner environment, and a more accessible and better city. If you are helping build these solutions or know someone who is, please reach out!In a past career, I worked on space systems and lunar mobility and am always excited for any discussion around this as well. I\'ve given several public talks on the topic of space, including TEDxASU and IgnitePhoenix and am always interested in discussing science with any audience.
