ABOUT ATHMIKA SEKAR
Currently a teenage entrepreneur, writer, and environmental-science driven student at Irvington High School (17 years old), with multiple marketing and outreach internships at environmentalist organizations such as Ocean Busters, Stem E, and YCAT Moldova. President of the KFA campaign student leadership program at Irvington, arranging and presenting at meetings as well as marketing a candidate for California State Assembly via canvassing and phonebanking, and organizing and assisting Fremont Councilwoman Teresa Keng with events. Was the fundraising officer (20••••20) and president (20••••21) of the Interact division in Horner Jr. High, and the Board Member of the Interact division at Irvington High School (2022), and has been the vice-captain of the Horner Jr. High cheerleading team, moving on to become one at Irvington High as well. Was an avid intern at the Santa Clara County Library, as well as an academic enrichment intern at Humane Society Silicon Valley. A proud member of the National Honor Society, and was accepted into and attended the Columbia Spring Academic Immersion Program for Global Economics and Public Policy. As an athlete, has won multiple awards for dance choreography in the Reflections competition; competitive dance team placed first in the group division in KAR dance.
