Myself Athira Unnikrishnan pursuing my career in BE Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering at AMET University, Chennai. I have done my minor project on the topic TONNAGE AND CAPACITY CALCULATION OF BULK CARRIER VESSEL. Had participated and done several projects for MHRD under SIH( Smart India Hackathon 2019 & 2020).Projects are MODIFICATION IN CATALYTIC CONVERTER OF VEHICLES TO CONTROL EMISSIONS & ROBOTIC ARM FOR INSPECTION, CLEANING AND PAINTING OF TANKS ON SHIPS TO SAVE TIME AND TO REDUCE THE MAN POWER AS WELL AS TO AVOID ACCIDENTS. Other competitions where Proof of Concept(PoC) under the Start up Policy for Entreneurship by MHRD. Student Coordinator of IIC(Institution Innovation Council) of AMET University. Coming to Internships I have done internship at Cochin Shipyard Pvt Ltd in 2019. Had an industrial visit to NIOT Chennai during the academic year 2019. Curently INTERN at Vik-SandVik Designs Pvt Ltd for the duration of 4 months.( January -April 2021). I educate, refine and drive myself to be a better person. Worked as Junior Naval Architect in a private design firm for 1 year. Projects Involved : Final Trim and Stability of M V Lakshadweep Sea, Damage Stability of M V Lakshadweep Sea, Preparation of preliminary stability booklet of KSINC owned acid tanker, Preliminary stability of material and split hopper barges,weight estimations, resistance and propulsion calculation of Ropax vessel. Currently working as Naval Architect (Design and Operations) Projects : 1. Removal of crane and it\'s parts from Sarthak barge (lifting and ODC operations) 2.Preparation of preliminary general arrangement and steel weight estimation of dumb barge. 3.Launching of KSINC owned Acid Barge using Airbags. 4.Launching of 150 Pax FRP Catamaran Boat (MINAR) using Airbags. Design and Production of 4 Nos of 20 Pax FRP catamaran Boats with electric propulsion. 6.Design and Production of 2 Nos of 5 MT FRP monohull cargo boat with electric propulsion. 7.Launching of tanker vessel using airbags. 8.Removal of spuds and placing the same onboard Sarthak barge and lifting and placing of work boat onboard Sarthak barge operation) 9.Repairs and steel renewal of barges. 10.Preparation of tenders and technical bids. 11.Production of 81 TEU Container vessel - Beypore Sultan. 12.Barging operations
