About Athira Ashokan
One of my fondest memories of my school was when my teacher told my parents, “Athira has the ability to push people and bring out the best in them”. I spent the rest of my life building on this quality that I held very dear. Pursuing Bachelor’s in Economics and Sociology taught me the importance of understanding people and their needs. Human beings are born with exceptional potential, all they need is a push in the right direction. I aim to be that push in their lives. My experience with RPG Foundation - Pehlay Akshar Program taught me building a judgement free space in their learning environment and education is the way to achieve this goal. My career in the development sector focuses on striving to educate young minds to become lifelong learners and achieve their innate potential.
