Effective communication with customers, liaising with the overseas offices, vendors, agents etc, regarding bookings;• Banking activities related to pre and post payment documentation for Import.• Confirm all shipment information with origin to initiate shipment• Receive and validate customer order including shipping documents, SLI, etc.• Follow up on the documentation like DAN, DO, etc, for solving any discrepancy on rates or terms in documentation.• Verify shipment status, review pre alert and issue shipment documents to concerned CHA team.• Coordinating with CHA and freight forwarders for import shipment and ensure timely delivery to the customers.• Serve as a liaison between CHA and the seller/ broker regarding shipment details and/or in handling exception.• Communicate exceptions and shipment status with customer and CHA, coordinating with agent for shipment status.
