Higher education faculty member with expertise in curriculum design, online instruction, and student-centered learning across undergraduate leadership courses at the 100, 200, and 300 levels. Taught in NMU’s Applied Workplace Leadership (AWL) program, supporting students working toward bachelor’s degrees and teacher certification in Michigan. Many students were employed as paraprofessionals, long-term substitute teachers, or support staff while enrolled through Talent Together and Grow Your Own teacher development pathways, initiatives designed to address state and national teacher shortages. Also served students from 44 additional academic majors across the university. Committed to inclusive pedagogy and the academic success of adult traditional and non-traditional students, including first-generation college students. Designed interactive online courses, incorporated AI-supported instructional strategies, facilitated collaborative projects, and provided individualized instructional support. Participated in campus events, delivered professional development, and mentored emerging student leaders.
