Taking initiatives in internal digital transformations through AR-VR and additive manufacturing to generate cost reduction, operator training time, defect rate and cycle time. Also, conduct team engagement activities for the team. Acting as a point of contact for external notified laborites for product testing to Medical Safety & Essential Performance requirements (IEC 60601-1) for complying to all applicable medical standards / regulations such as CE and FDA 4. Integral part of the team responsible for idea and concept generation using tools like Brainstorming, Pugh Matrix to execution by carrying out the design calculations and developing proof of concept 5. Work with cross functional stakeholders (Like Service, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, Clinical etc.…) for the projects. Responsible for releasing design through Engineering Change management. Active participant in DFM and DFA activities & optimization of design for cost reduction. Support localization projects. Understood the customer complaints in one of the products, performed root cause analysis to understand the problem, did detail technical and CoNQ data analysis, performed design iterations and developed the proto for POC to improve the reliability of the product.
