About Atharv Risavade
I am Atharv Risavade, a Bachelor of Technology student in Electrical Engineering at Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, with a strong academic foundation and a keen interest in Automation and Renewable Energy systems. My technical exposure includes hands-on experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Proteus, which I have extensively used for system modeling, simulation, and analysis. As part of my B.Tech project, I am working on Automatic Reactive Power Compensation using Switched Capacitance along with the Modeling of a STATCOM, focusing on power factor improvement and reactive power control in electrical systems.Currently, I am working as an Intern at Honeywell, where I am gaining practical industry exposure and strengthening my understanding of real-world automation and electrical engineering applications. I am particularly interested in integrating advanced control techniques with sustainable and energy-efficient solutions.I am a motivated learner who enjoys solving engineering problems, collaborating in team environments, and continuously upgrading my technical skills. I look forward to opportunities that allow me to contribute meaningfully while growing as a professional electrical engineer.
