Hi, I’m Ateeth Shetty, a Master’s student in Product Development at Chalmers University of Technology, with a deep passion for engineering innovative solutions in product design. My journey started in mechanical engineering and has evolved to include a wide range of interests, from optimizing electric vehicle designs to collaborating on industry projects with giants like Boeing and SAAB.Here’s what I bring to the table:* Expertise in CAD tools like SolidWorks, CATIA, and NX Siemens, with strong proficiency in CFD simulation using STAR-CCM+.* Hands-on experience in additive manufacturing, aerodynamic simulations, wire harness design, aircraft design, design optimization, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).* A collaborative, end-to-end approach to product development, where I guide projects from initial concept generation through prototyping, rigorous testing, and final implementation, ensuring that each phase meets technical standards and user needs.I recently completed an exciting exterior body design project for a three-wheeler electric vehicle at a company in Lund, Sweden. I was responsible for optimizing the vehicle\'s exterior design and attachments, applying a data-driven approach to improve both aerodynamic performance and efficiency. This project involved extensive use of NX Siemens, CATIA V5, Blender, and CFD simulations with Simcenter Star-CCM+ to ensure that every design iteration met stringent performance and sustainability targets.Working within chassis constraints, I developed and evaluated numerous conceptual models, constantly refining the design to balance aesthetics, functionality, and performance.
