I\'m a former mechanical engineer who along the way helped develop an invisibility cloak at a startup, analyzed weapons technology at the CIA, helped build the Bay Area\'s most successful tech recruiting firm, served as an operating partner at Kleiner Perkins, and was a General Partner at Coatue. Now I\'ve co-founded Outcast Ventures, where I get to work with imaginative entrepreneurs and invest my time, capital, and network to help build their ambitious companies.Outside of work, I serve on the board of directors for the San Francisco SPCA Adopt, don\'t shop!I\'m also a mechanical engineer and plasma physicist by training and you can usually find me in my garage fixing something for my wife.
