About Andrew Blair

Building a broad, complementary set of experiences has been the foundation of my career. I believe strong engineering depends on interconnected skills and perspectives, so I’ve intentionally sought opportunities that expand my toolkit and deepen my understanding of a globally linked world.My path spans technical engineering, combat leadership, and project management. This range has enabled me to contribute beyond the typical boundaries of engineer or manager, sharpening my sense for risk, opportunity, and how to shape both.I’ve helped develop technologies to protect Soldiers on the battlefield—and later led those same Soldiers in combat as an Army officer. As a civil engineer, I worked on novel Ebola isolation units and deployed to Liberia to manage their construction. Most recently, I’ve partnered with exceptional engineers in NewSpace, designing flight vehicles and the facilities that bring them to life.I’m grateful for the teams and experiences that have shaped me. The impact of my work has been reinforced time and again by direct engagement with the people it serves and the leaders who have guided me.
