ABOUT ATAULLAH MANGAL

With over the past 13+ years, I\'ve built a career at the intersection of banking, finance, law, and operations across two continents, multiple institutions, and communities that the traditional financial system has consistently overlooked. My journey began in 2011 at Azizi Bank in Kabul, Afghanistan, where I progressed from Marketing Coordinator to Operations Manager over nearly a decade, working alongside UN agencies including WHO and WFP. After resettling in the United States, I joined Wells Fargo as an Operations Manager, deepening my expertise in U.S. banking systems, regulatory compliance, and team leadership, while completing my MBA along the way. Today, I\'m focused on three areas where I believe I can create the most impact: Transaction Banking & Corporate Finance Deep expertise in banking operations, AML/CFT compliance, commercial lending, and financial controls — built across two countries and multiple institutional environments. Wealth Management & Financial Advisory Helping families, professionals, and business owners across Southern California build, protect, and grow generational wealth — with the cultural fluency and multilingual capability to do it authentically. I serve Afghan, Persian/Iranian, Indian, and broader multicultural communities who deserve a trusted advisor who truly understands their world. Entrepreneurship As Co-Founder and President of Dexa Ventures and Dexta Mobility, I\'m building solutions that address real problems for real people by bringing the same operational discipline from my banking career into the startup world. What makes my approach different is the convergence of credentials most advisors simply don\'t have: an Associate Degree in Financial Management, an MBA, an LL.M. in Private Law, and a PMP® certification combined with hands-on experience in banking operations, commercial finance, and entrepreneurship across two very different financial environments. My LL.M. in Private Law isn\'t just a credential. It enables deeper, more substantive conversations on estate planning, business succession, contracts, and cross-border wealth transfers conversations that are especially critical for families navigating two financial worlds at once.
