At The Manhattan Borough President\'s Office (MBPO), I serve on the Policy Team as an Education Policy Analyst. I connect with our appointees to the Community Educational Councils (CECs) and to the New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) Panel for Educational Policy (PEP), to inform and strive toward academic opportunity- encompassing workforce development and training, co-curricular enrichment, mentorship, empowerment, and planning. Meeting with a rich palette of education advocacy groups, drafting letters of support for educational initiatives, and responding to regular constituent correspondence comprise my work schedule. I develop skills in collaboration, attention to detail, multi-tasking, strong writing, and multi-faceted presentation and coordination. Seeking avenues for academic success for New York City Public School students is highly inspiring and fulfilling. I am fortunate to work with dedicated individuals both inside the MBPO and external to our team.
