ABOUT ANDRE TAPLIN
I\'m currently a research & development (R&D) consultant working with alliantgroup and formerly a manufacturing engineer with Schlumberger and Weatherford. I\'ve been fortunate enough to work with multiple product lines within the oilfield services industry, mainly completions and well construction, and with diverse teams. My experience ranges from design to lean manufacturing to QA/QC to project management. As a mechanical engineer by degree, I thoroughly enjoy learning about how optimization and design principles not only influence part/tool design but also how those same engineering principles can be applied to manufacturing and production. My experience and resourcefulness are the foundation of the knowledge and expertise I can bring to firms as a consultant. I\'ve led teams of up to seven and continue to strive to be an effective leader, team member, and project manager. In my spare time, I\'m either learning or practicing a foreign language.
