About Atanas Patterson Ianev Ianev
Atanas Patterson-Ianev is an undergraduate student in his fourth year at the University of San Francisco pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science. With a passion for understanding what the latest technology can supply companies with, Atanas has honed his skills in software development, data analysis, and AI through both academic coursework and hands-on experience. He is recognized as a Dean\'s List scholar and a member of USF’s Black Scholars Program and Honors College Program. Atanas has a diverse range of professional experiences, including a Corporate Trust internship at the Bank of New York (BNY) where he contributed to reducing audit risk and improving task management processes through research and technological recommendations. Additionally, he serves as a Computer Science Tutor at USF, where he mentors fellow students, and as a Senator of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) chapter at USF, advocating for greater representation and opportunities for Black students in STEM. Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, Atanas is deeply committed to community engagement. He has volunteered as a camp counselor, providing mentorship to young boys and adopted children. He is also involved in various organizations, including the Blacks In Technology Foundation and the Black Student Union.
