ABOUT ASYA OSTROVSKY
Research Assistant at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) at Sussex University Currently interested in policy change to facilitate the energy transition (especially solar and nuclear generation) in the UK and globally. I work as a Research Assistant to a PhD candidate at SPRU. My role involves developing a scientifically accurate, detailed infographic on the global environmental impacts of a possible nuclear winter scenario. The output will be used in an upcoming paper and at international conferences.I hold a BA in Geography from the University of Cambridge, where I focused on Geopolitics, Political Ecology and Feminist Methodologies. My dissertation on gendered geographies of vulnerability in New York\'s Adirondack Park earned recognition for its depth and perspective. My professional experience includes ESG Analysis at Curation Corp, conducting primary research on indigenous conservation in the Peruvian Amazon and B Corp project consulting at Junxion Strategy.Fluent in multiple languages, I bring strong communication skills, data analysis, and spatial research expertise to my work.
