   SH5 reconstruction and widening PS & E – McKinney, Texas The 4.5-mile $150M project proposes the design and reconstruction of a 4-lane suburban roadway to a 6-lane divided urban arterial through the heart of downtown McKinney with significant pedestrian and bicycle facility additions and major upgrades to the SH5/SH121 interchange. • Developed horizontal and vertical alignments of mainlanes, ramps, t-streets and 220 driveways. • Created 3D model of the interchange and urban corridors. • Generated cross-sections, earthwork volume and produced DTMs for the proposed corridor. • Designed MSE retaining wall plan, profiles and incorporated them in the model. • Produced grading surfaces for ditches and flood plain mitigation. • Performed quantity take off and cost estimation for the project. SH 178 Artcraft Rd Interchange PS & E – El Paso, Texas This 3.1-mile $200M project between the Texas/New Mexico state line and I-10 proposes the grade separation of the at-grade intersections of Artcraft Rd at Westside Dr and Upper Valley Rd, converting it to a freeway section with on/off ramps. The project also proposed four direct connectors between IH 10 and SH 178 (Artcraft Rd). • Created and designed the 3D Model of the interchange. • Performed intersection and gore grading for the interchange area. • Designed MSE retaining wall plan, profile, and grading. • Calculated and designed superelevation calcs for the interchange and the DC’s. • Generated cross-sections, earthwork volume and produced DTMs for the interchange. • Designed shared used path geometry using the latest TxDOT RDM and AASHTO bike guide • Analyzed turning movements for design vehicle using the AutoTURN program.
