ABOUT ASTRID HÉTÊT

With over 25 years of experience in the space sector, I’m passionate about building bridges between technology, responsibility, and communication. As CSR Officer at Eutelsat - a global leader and the only satellite operator combining LEO and GEO constellations, with more than 1,600 employees of 75 nationalities and over €1.2 billion in revenue - I lead initiatives that turn our sustainability commitments into measurable progress. This year, I played a key role in ensuring CSRD compliance for our first Sustainability Statement, successfully achieving limited assurance with our auditors - a major milestone in Eutelsat’s ESG journey. I also oversee CSR communication across the Group, fostering employee engagement, social media awareness, and transparency through our annual Sustainability Report. Driven by a strong belief that responsible communication and collaboration are catalysts for lasting change, I work every day to make sustainability not only a box to tick, but a shared ambition across our ecosystem - on Earth and in space.
