About Aaron Stranahan

I am a Healthcare IT leader with 20+ years experience working with companies ranging from early stage startups to mature enterprise environments. While each organization is different, it\'s my belief that successful HIT organizations promote a shared vision aligning technology with business goals, place a premium on the adoption of best practices and work hard to foster the growth and development of each team member.HealthIT is a large and varied industry. I\'ve been fortunate to spend much of my career focused on informatics and the data that drives healthcare with a particular focus on clinical data, claims and large-scale solutions that drive both the improvement patient outcomes as well as efficiencies within large and small provider organizations. I\'m passionate about making a difference and have been fortunate to participate in industry and regulatory initiatives such as being a member of the ONC technical committee forming the (NHIN) Direct standard, XCBL workgroups, IHE standards and more.As a technology leader, I\'ve had the opportunity to direct development organizations both small and large, technical operations in enterprise, hosted and cloud environments as well as tackle product management along with technical architecture across a wide variety of platforms, methodologies and product maturity levels. I\'ve also worked to maintain my technical abilities to both make me a more capable technology leader as well as to create opportunities to mentor and grow team members.
